Research in Progress:
A prospective study examining the physics of breast reduction surgery and approaches to improve patient symptoms currently in the early stages. This project involves the use of 3-dimensional digital scanning, spinal radiographs, and computer-aided vector analysis to define the forces exerted on a patient’s breasts and musculoskeletal system to better understand the problems associated with mammary hypertrophy and find better surgical solutions.
